YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program) is PhilHealth’s expanded version of the former KonSulTa program. It gives ALL Filipinos access to primary care benefits such as: • FREE consultations with a primary care doctor • FREE laboratory and diagnostic tests (based on a doctor’s diagnosis) • FREE cancer screening tests (based on a doctor’s diagnosis) • FREE medicines (based on the doctor’s prescription)

Primary care means basic healthcare services that you regularly need to stay healthy. Under YAKAP, your primary care doctor is your main partner in managing your health and ensuring early detection of diseases so they don’t get worse. ❗️Please note that pre-existing conditions are not covered under YAKAP.

Some Filipinos may already be enrolled in YAKAP without knowing it. Our team can help you check your enrollment status in the PhilHealth system or you may check it in your e-GOV app. • If you are already enrolled, you must continue with your current YAKAP clinic until the next registration period. • You can only change your YAKAP clinic by going to the PhilHealth Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) or during the annual registration period.

No. YAKAP registration must be renewed every year. Members need to register annually to keep enjoying the benefits. The annual registration period is also when you can choose or change your YAKAP clinic for the next coverage year.
